Dealing with Adversity

I’ve been on the disabled list, and it’s given me a chance to learn. Last Saturday at the 10th Annual Fellowship Day at AT&T Park, I shared some of what I learned. I hope this helps to encourage you as you deal with adversity.

A special shout-out to Matt Baquiran for making this recording and sharing it on YouTube.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing with us on Saturday, and last year. Your words are so encouraging! I also really appreciate what you’ve written in this blog. I love that you are using your influence as a major league baseball player (and therefore, also a role model) to make a positive difference in the world.

Matt Baquiran’s video is much higher quality than mine, but I have also uploaded a video of what you shared and I have an extra two minutes on the end of mine when you talk more about all of us being God’s family… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLjJm-kjBcc

  2. Thanks so much Jeremy! That was awesome to see you out there keeping it real! We are proud of what you are doing for God and with Him. Love and Blessings

  3. Jeremy,

Thanks for the shout out! I was hoping others would feel blessed and encouraged by the video. Also, I thought you might find this interesting, there is a dynamic new church being planted near AT&T Park. It’s called Epic Church (http://epicsf.com/). Pastor Ben has a really amazing vision and passion for the City of San Francisco. Again, thanks for posting my video and God Bless!

  4. Thank you so much Jeremy for these encouraging words. It’s a cliche, but its encouraging to know that Jesus is providing for you in the same way he provides for the rest of us workaday folk. Amazing to know that we are all one family united under one Father who has brought us together.
