Perfectly said. I’ve had this verse in my head lately.
2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

My goodness, there is so much good news in this post! Sometimes I’m afraid I’m not the best soil for the Lord’s message, because I’m such a doubter. Tell me news this good, and it short-circuits my brain! But I’ll keep listening, of course, because news this good is…what’s the word…AWESOME!

What a deep and important lesson to learn! We so often treat our families differently than others because it is “comfortable” and “safe”. However, these are the people we should most treat with grace and humility and love.
